Hills, Sangam.
Hall of Fame: The Hall of Fame, located near the Leh Airfield, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the
Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars.
Guruduwara Pathar Sahib: is a beautiful Guruduwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, The
Guruduwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru
of the Sikh faith.
Magnetic Point: is a gravity hill located on Srinagar - Leh National highway. The hill is alleged to
have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order
to escape magnetic interference; in reality, the effect is an optical illusion created by the gravity hill.
Sangam: is the confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar. Just the view of Sangam Valley from the road above it
can make you swoon in ecstasy. The colours of the two rivers can be distinctly seen at the confluence. It is an
amazing place to sit, relax, and enjoy a picnic with family and friends..

After breakfast at the hotel drive to Khardung la Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered as
the 2 nd highest motorable pass of the world, after sightseeing at Khardong la pass drive back to Leh.
After lunch visit Thiksay Monastery, Shey Palace and Hemis monastery.
Shey Palace, the erstwhile royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs, is the main attraction of Shey. The palace was
built by King Deldan Namgyal in 1655 AD. Namgyal also made Shey his summer capital. It offers views of a vast
expanse of the surrounding valleys .
Thiksey: Spectacularly sighted, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa. There are
several temples in this gompa, containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.
Hemis Monastery: This is the biggest and the most important monastery in Ladakh.It is situated 49 kms.to South of
Leh,a little off the main Leh-Manali road.It was built in the 17 th century by Chapgon Gyalshas and ever since has
enjoyed the Patronage of the royal family.Hemis is the headquarter of the Drukpa order and all the monasteries
throughout Ladakh are administered by it. It is also trains Lamas for the royal monasteries at Leh, Shey and Bazgo.
In the 19 th century it faced a siege by General Zorawar Singh. The Gompa was saved to the skillful handing of the
situation by the head Lama.

After a delicious breakfast drive to Pangong Lake .Continue drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) ,
drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Pangong Lake is salt water,
120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India &
China. Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One
really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. After sightseeing at Pangong drive
back to Leh via same route.
